Please be aware that the legal status of our entire taxi driver fleet is self employed and they are not employees of Crown Cars.

Each individual driver has there own insurance and abides by the rules of Runnymede Borough Council.

You must order a suitable car size for the number of passengers and luggage. Please note that a child, no matter what age counts as one passenger.

Crown Cars shall use all reasonable endeavours to pick you up and get you to your destination on time, but shall not be liable for any loss due to delays beyond it’s control. Under no circumstances shall Crown Cars be liable for any loss of profits, business or for any indirect or consequential loss whatever.

The company and driver reserve the right to decline any bookings or ask to pay for the taxi services upfront and also to request any passenger(s) leave the vehicle if it is deemed his/her conduct is incompatible with the safety of the driver.

It is a criminal offence knowingly getting into a taxi and not having payment for the journey. Failure to pay will result in the police being notified and we will submit all your personal details to the police.

You shall be responsible for the behaviour of all the passengers in the vehicle during the journey. You will be charged accordingly to cover cleaning costs in the unlikely event of the vehicle being soiled by any passenger.

Eating, drinking and smoking are not permitted in any vehicle.

Crown Cars will not take more passengers than it’s insurance or licensing allows.

All personal belongings are carried entirely at your own risk. Crown Cars will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any personal items whilst in the vehicle.

All children travelling with Crown Cars should be restrained in a manner appropriate to their age, weight and hight. UK law states that taxis are exempt from legislation relating to children travelling in a baby/child seat or booster. For health and safety reasons Crown Cars are unable to provide any form of child seat. It would be the child’s parent/carers responsibility to provide one and to fit the seat in the vehicle and secure the child.

In the unlikely event you have a problem or complaint you must inform the driver immediately. If you wish to make a formal complaint, please notify crown cars in writing no later than 7 days after your journey.

Without prior notice Crown Cars reserve the right to amend, change, delete or add to these terms and conditions whenever it deems it necessary.
